Citygroup is an award-winning NYC architecture collective. Its work asks what cities can be when they are shaped collectively rather than transactionally.

Context

Citygroup is a New York City-based architecture collective that Alex has been a member of since 2019. The collective’s work was exhibited at the 2021 Oslo Architecture Triennale, one of the most significant architecture exhibitions in Europe.

Role

Alex is a member of the collective. The Triennale exhibition was a collective output; Alex’s contribution sits within that shared authorship. Membership in Citygroup has run in parallel with his work at SHoP Architects and Slalom.
